Villa Pearl

Villa Pearl, also known as Villa White Pearl, lies in Es Cubells, the quiet clifftop parish on Ibiza's south-west coast, where the land drops steeply to the sea and Formentera fills the southern horizon. The villa sits directly above the water on a plot of around 7,000 square metres, with access to the sea at the foot of the property.

Refurbished from top to bottom in 2012, the house is white and resolutely contemporary, its 500 square metres given over to light, uncluttered rooms with frameless glass between them and the sea. Outdoors, a series of terraces gathers around the pool, with a bar, a barbecue, three lounging areas and two places to dine.

All six bedrooms have their own terrace and look out to sea, sleeping twelve guests in total. The master bedroom upstairs has a south and west aspect, two large terraces, a double dressing room and a marble bathroom with a view of Formentera from the bath. The sixth bedroom is a separate outdoor room with a walk-in shower.

Beyond the gates, a sandy beach is five minutes away, the restaurants and beach clubs of Cala Jondal about ten, and Ibiza Town around twenty. The villa's mooring can take larger boats, so Formentera is an easy day out by sea, and the airport is only fifteen minutes by road.
