Villa Pacifica
Villa Pacifica sits on the beach within Ranchos Estates, the gated enclave of oceanfront homes in Punta Mita, on Mexico's Pacific coast north of Puerto Vallarta. Designed by the renowned Mexican architect Pepe de Yturbe, it is a contemporary take on the Mexican hacienda, set among tropical gardens with the ocean just beyond.
The architecture is calm and minimal, with indoor and outdoor living spaces that flow into one another and a palm-filled courtyard linking the bedrooms. The villa can be booked with five or seven bedrooms, sleeping up to sixteen guests, with five suites and two cabana rooms.
Outside, the pool and jacuzzi have built-in lounge beds, and a garden terrace with a fire pit looks out over the sand. Direct beach access means mornings can start with kayaking, paddleboarding or bodysurfing, and evenings with dinner from the pizza and grill patio. A media room, giant garden chess and a marble ping-pong table keep everyone entertained.
The service is generous. A chef and cook, a 24-hour butler, housekeeping from early morning until late evening, a concierge and house manager are all part of the stay, along with pre-stocking and unpacking. Guests also enjoy access to Punta Mita's golf, tennis and beach clubs.
