One&Only Mandarina Private Home No.2 sits on a jungle-covered hillside above Mexico's Pacific coast in Riviera Nayarit, less than an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. It is one of a limited collection of private homes within Mandarina, a low-density resort community that is also home to the One&Only Mandarina resort and the Mandarina Polo & Equestrian Club.
The homes were shaped by Rick Joy, the architect behind Amangiri, and are designed to sit lightly in the landscape. Expect warm timber, natural stone and walls of glass that open onto terraces, a private pool and sweeping views over the treetops to the ocean.
Staying here means having a private house with the full backing of a One&Only resort. A dedicated host looks after the details, and guests have access to the resort's restaurants, spa and beach clubs, as well as a kids' club with treehouses, polo and riding lessons, and miles of jungle trails for walking, cycling and horse riding.
