Nukutepipi
Nukutepipi is a private island in the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia, owned by Guy Laliberté, the co-founder of Cirque du Soleil. Encircled by deep blue ocean, it is a world of primary forest, untouched beaches, a protected lagoon and living coral reefs, and it is rented exclusively to a single group.
The island welcomes up to 52 guests, with a master residence, two junior villas and 13 bungalows spread across the island, all designed with care for its fragile ecosystem. Arrival is by private charter flight from Tahiti, followed by a welcome at the Fare Fakariki reception pavilion.
There is extraordinary variety for an island of its size. A spa has two massage rooms, a hammam, a Nordic bath, a sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi, and indoors there is a cinema, a games room, a children's playroom, a poker room, a DJ booth, meeting rooms and a fitness room.
The lagoon and reef are a natural playground for snorkelling, paddleboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, sailing and deep-sea fishing, and humpback whales pass between July and November. On land, there is tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, basketball, archery, mini golf and bikes for exploring. Few places on earth offer such complete privacy for so large a group.
