Location

The island is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, less than 1,000 km from Bora Bora and Tahiti in French Polynesia. The closest international airport, Faaa, is located on Tahiti and can accommodate private jets.

There are year-round direct flights to Tahiti from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Paris, Tokyo and Auckland. And a weekly flight from Santiago de Chile arrives in Tahiti via Easter Island. Transfers to and from Tahiti (via Papetee domestic airport) to the island are provided by private chartered flights. Once you reach the island, you’ll be welcomed at the “Fare Fakariki” reception area with refreshments.

You can also experience lagoon tours, coral garden and nursery visits, reef walks, traditional sailing canoes, outrigger canoes Motu picnics and other motorized lagoon activities. On sea, you can go deep-sea fishing, reef fishing, diving and even whale watching in season (July to November).

On land

Play tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, basketball, beach soccer, ping-pong, archery and mini putt. Discover the island on foot or by bike.
