Iniala House
The Collector's Villa is the signature residence of Iniala Beach House, set on the quiet sands of Natai Beach in Phang Nga, a short drive north of Phuket, with sunsets over the Andaman Sea. It is a contemporary take on a classic Thai house, built from golden teak, and one of the most remarkable design villas in Asia.
Four celebrated designers each created part of the house. The Brazilian Campana Brothers designed the living and dining pavilion, its walls inspired by Bangkok's Wat Arun and covered in around 3,000 ceramic plates, as well as the Cinema of Nature, clad in coconut skin with a 160-inch screen, and the Pearl Spa, lined in mother-of-pearl. A central courtyard is held up by pillars of broken Thai ceramics, and a crystal dining sala glows at night.
Each of the three bedroom suites is a world of its own. The beachfront Owner's Suite is by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, the Boudoir Suite by Mark Brazier-Jones and the Carpenter's Suite by Irish furniture maker Joseph Walsh. Together they sleep up to six adults, plus two children.
A 122-square-metre infinity pool looks out to sea. A dedicated driver, butler, chef, spa therapist and housekeeper look after the villa, so every day can be shaped around you.
