Emara
Emara was once the Caribbean hideaway of the musician Prince, who owned the estate until his death in 2016. Set on the secluded Turtle Tail peninsula on the south coast of Providenciales, it still bears his signature touch, from its purple driveway to its purple tennis court.
The estate's lush gardens slope down to a private white-sand beach, where the water is calm, shallow and turquoise. A dock of more than 200 feet reaches out into the sea, and the house sits on raised ground with sweeping ocean views.
Two villas, Emara East and Emara West, can be taken together for up to 34 guests across 17 bedrooms, or separately for smaller groups, making Emara a natural choice for family reunions and milestone celebrations. Two pools include a three-tiered infinity pool with a swim-up bar, and there are more than five outdoor dining areas.
There is plenty to do on the estate itself: a full-size tennis court with a basketball net, a giant chess set, a gym, a yoga platform and a beachside entertainment deck with a bar, treehouse seating and an oceanside fire pit. Kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling gear are ready on the beach.
A house manager, concierge, housekeeping and round-the-clock security look after the estate, and boat charters, fishing, fireworks and live entertainment can all be arranged.
