Bajacu
Bajacu is the work of Marco Aldaco, the Mexican architect celebrated for houses that seem to grow out of their landscape. Set on a hillside on Providenciales, it unfolds in curves of smooth stone and terracotta, with views that sweep through 270 degrees across the Caribbean Sea.
The main house is reached by winding stone staircases and framed by shaded outdoor rooms. Inside and out, the design is rich and tactile: dark timber, handmade ceramics, Mexican tiles and natural materials that feel entirely at home in the island light. A gently curving infinity pool, some 170 feet long, appears to cling to the edge of the house, with a shallow second pool alongside.
Below, tropical gardens tumble down to the estate's own beach, one of the very few in Turks and Caicos that is entirely private, with its own beach house tucked into a secluded cobalt bay. Six en-suite bedrooms, each with a private ocean-view terrace, sleep up to 12 guests.
A chef, butler, housekeeping and concierge are all included, along with VIP airport transfers. There is also a gym, a home cinema and non-motorised watersports, while yacht hire and island excursions can be arranged.
