Villa Phos

Villa Phos sits on the hillside above Kalami Bay, on the green north-east coast of Corfu, where the island looks across the water to the mountains of the mainland. Its name means light in Greek, and the house is designed to make the most of it, with wide sea views and sunrises over the Ionian.

The village of Kalami is a short walk away, along with the beaches of Yialiskari and Agni Bay. Also within walking distance is the White House, the waterfront restaurant where Michelin-starred chef Lefteris Lazarou curates the menu each season.

The villa rises over three floors, linked by a lift, with interiors full of natural light and an easy flow between indoors and out. Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and sea views, suit up to ten adults and two children. A fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances and a wine cooler is joined by a ground-floor kitchenette.

At pool level, a heated pool with hydro jets is surrounded by extended terraces, with a breakfast table for twelve and a pergola bar with built-in sofas. There is also a gym with a spin bike and TRX, a yoga and games area, table tennis and a barbecue. A villa manager, concierge and maid service look after the house, with a chef in July and August.
