Villa le Castel

Villa le Castel stands within a private, double-gated domain in Vallauris, in the green hills between Cannes and Antibes. Surrounded by around four and a half hectares of woodland and gardens, it feels a world away from the coast, yet the sea is only five minutes away and Cannes about twelve.

The house is a historic stone villa that has been beautifully renovated, its traditional construction and original features, including a spiral staircase and five fireplaces, paired with refined, contemporary interiors. Around 565 square metres of living space hold six bedrooms for twelve guests.

The estate is the real luxury here. Gardens and a promenade lead into the woods, where a two-kilometre private trail invites morning runs, family walks and quiet hours among the trees. A multi-sport field gives children and adults room to play, and a glass sauna offers a place to unwind with a view of the greenery.

Vallauris itself is famous for its ceramic tradition and for Picasso, who lived and worked here after the Second World War, and the beaches and restaurants of Golfe-Juan, Juan-les-Pins and Cannes are all close by. The villa is pet-friendly, and a dedicated property manager looks after the stay.
