Villa La Semilla

Villa La Semilla sits on Soliman Bay, a quiet crescent of sand just north of Tulum, held between the mangrove jungle and a secluded beach. It is a gently developed community of private villas, around fifteen minutes by car from Tulum village and an hour and a half from Cancún airport.

The villa was created for living in harmony with nature, its modern, rustic architecture opening up to the bay and the jungle behind. On the ground floor, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space looks out through floor-to-ceiling windows to the greenery and to a garden veranda with an infinity pool.

There are five suites for ten guests, each with its own terrace looking out over the water, many with hammocks for lazy afternoons. The property has its own private stretch of beach, and the calm, reef-sheltered bay is ideal for kayaking and snorkelling.

Above, two tiered rooftop terraces take in the bay and the mangroves, one with its own pool, perfect for sunbathing by day and stargazing at night. On-site staff look after the villa around the clock, with daily cleaning and a chef preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, so the only decisions are what to eat and when to swim.
