Villa La Guettière
Villa La Guettière sits on the Cap d'Antibes, moments from the legendary Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, of whose private villa collection it is part. Set in around 6,500 square metres of landscaped grounds, it looks out over the Mediterranean from one of the most celebrated peninsulas on the Riviera.
Built in the 1970s, the villa reopened in 2025 after a complete renovation by architect Luc Svetchine, continuing the work of his father, André Svetchine, with respect for the original architecture. Inside, the Countess Bergit Douglas of MM Design created calm interiors of natural textures and a coastal palette.
The estate brings together a six-bedroom main residence with a lift and a three-bedroom guest house, nine en-suite bedrooms in all for eighteen guests, many with private terraces. A dining room seats eighteen, and there is a private cinema, a fitness room, a wine cellar and a wellness area with sauna and steam bath.
Outdoors, the pool overlooks the sea, with a pool house holding a lounge, dining area and gym alongside, and a private tennis court in the grounds. Service is as polished as the hotel's: butlers, housekeepers, discreet 24-hour security, a private chef, a chauffeured car for four hours a day and transfers from Nice or Cannes, with the hotel's concierge close at hand.
