Villa George

Villa George stands just outside Kassiopi in north-east Corfu, between the bays of Avlaki and Koyevinas, where the island looks across a narrow strait to the mainland. It is a short walk to the water in either direction, with a little bay around 120 metres from the garden gate and Koyevinas beach around 200 metres away.

The architecture is neoclassical, inspired by the Venetian elegance that still shapes so much of Corfu, with stone walls, olive-shaded terraces and paths lined with lavender. Inside, classic proportions meet modern comfort.

The villa is arranged over three levels. On the ground floor, a lounge and fully equipped kitchen sit alongside three en-suite bedrooms that open onto a shaded veranda. The entire first floor is given over to the master suite, with its own balcony, and a lower level adds a sitting and TV room and a fifth en-suite bedroom, sleeping ten in all.

Outside, the heated infinity pool sits on a large sun terrace, with a barbecue and space for long meals outdoors. The gardens can even host a wedding party of up to 80 guests. The tavernas of Kassiopi and Agios Stefanos are close by, housekeeping and a welcome hamper are included, and a private chef and driver can be arranged.
