Villa del Mar, Marbella Club

Villa del Mar is the jewel in Marbella Club’s crown. The six-bedroom estate stands directly on the beach, set in 6,000 square metres of mature gardens, with its own gate onto the Marbella promenade and terraces that look straight out to sea. It was made for occasions: milestone birthdays, family reunions and long summers when everyone comes.

The grand reception rooms are hung with an eclectic private art collection. Traditional Andalusian patios, cooled by fountains and lined with hand-painted ceramics, connect one wing to the next. A wood-burning fireplace warms the main salon, and the fully fitted kitchen is equal to anything from a family breakfast to a seated dinner for the whole party.

Downtime is thoroughly catered for, with a private cinema and games room, a gym, a treatment room, and a sauna and hammam. The six bedrooms and nine bathrooms sleep twelve, or fourteen with extra beds. A Villa Host and a 24-hour butler run the house, and every service of the hotel lies a short walk away through the gardens.

For the largest gatherings, Villa del Mar connects with Rincón del Mar and the Holistic Studio next door to form an eleven-bedroom private compound.
