Villa Bukit Naga

Villa Bukit Naga sits on a hilltop around twenty minutes from the centre of Ubud, high above the meeting of two sacred rivers. From its terraces the view falls away into a jungle gorge and rises again to the volcanic peaks of Bali's interior, with tropical gardens filling everything in between.

The architecture is Balinese at heart, refreshed with modern touches. The estate is arranged as three separate buildings, giving families and groups both togetherness and privacy, and sleeps up to thirteen guests across seven bedrooms.

The main residence holds the living and dining spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, an entertainment room and the master suite. A two-bedroom villa has its own plunge pool and small gym, while a single-bedroom villa has a jacuzzi and an outdoor shower set among the greenery, a natural retreat for a couple.

At the centre of it all is a 50-foot infinity pool, lined in green tiles that echo the jungle and set right on the edge of the gorge. A team of fifteen full-time staff, from a villa manager and chefs to butlers, gardeners, drivers and security, looks after every detail, and in-villa spa treatments and babysitting can be arranged. Ubud's temples, rice terraces, galleries and restaurants are an easy drive away.
