Villa Ama
Villa Ama looks out over Pampelonne, the long sweep of golden sand that gave Saint-Tropez its legend, with Club 55 and Nikki Beach close at hand. Set in around a hectare of gardens with panoramic views across the bay, it is a house where contemporary art is as much a part of the setting as the sea.
The grounds are laid out as a sculpture garden, with works by Richard Serra, Jeff Koons, Urs Fischer and Franz West placed among the lawns and planting. Inside, around 500 square metres of living space continue the theme, pairing refined furnishings with carefully chosen contemporary pieces.
Seven en-suite bedrooms sleep fourteen guests, including a children's room with bunk beds for three and a two-bedroom apartment that offers extra independence. An open living room leads straight out to the heated pool, and terraces with a long dining table and bar set the stage for evenings that run late.
Families are well looked after, with children's play areas, table tennis and an open-air cinema, alongside a fitness room. A private helipad allows heli-transfers from Nice or Toulon, a golf cart is on hand for getting around, and a full team including a private chef, two butlers, a driver, daily housekeeping and concierge takes care of everything else.
