Trisara Villa No 25

Villa No. 25 sits within Trisara, the secluded resort on Phuket's north-west coast whose name evokes a "garden in the third heaven". Set on its own 2,720-square-metre plot above the bay, with a private entrance, it has views of the Andaman Sea from every corner.

The villa is arranged across two levels. On the upper level, beside the entrance and an outdoor sala, two bedrooms look out to sea, and one can be joined by an adjoining room on request. A staircase leads down past tropical gardens to the main pool deck, where two further master bedrooms flank the central living and dining pavilion.

At the heart of it all is a 20-metre infinity pool that seems to run straight out into the bay. Below, a garden path winds down to the shoreline, where tide pools wait to be explored and an ancient banyan tree offers deep shade for an afternoon with a book.

The villa comes with its own cook and housekeeping team, and home-cooked Thai and Western meals are prepared in the villa's kitchen, so a long lunch by the pool or a candlelit dinner on the deck never requires leaving. When guests do want more, the rest of Trisara and the beaches and restaurants of Phuket's west coast are close at hand, with a private driver and airport transfers available on request.
