Tranquility

Tranquility spreads across eleven acres at the quiet eastern end of Grace Bay, on Leeward Beach, where the sand is softer underfoot and the crowds thin out. It is a house on the scale of a private resort, with gardens, courts and a beach of its own, yet only a short drive from Grace Bay's restaurants, beach clubs and shops.

The architecture is colonial in style, with broad balconies and generous proportions. Inside, around 24,485 square feet hold eleven bedrooms for 22 guests, with most in the main house and three in a separate guest house, and a lift linking the floors. The principal bathroom has baths indoors and out.

The main house opens directly onto the beach, past a resort-style pool with a hot tub and wet bar, a private beach deck and gardens set up for long outdoor dinners around the fire pit. A tennis court, yoga pavilion, spa, sauna and fitness centre cover every kind of energy level, and a media room and wine cellar take care of the evenings.

On the canal side of the estate, a boathouse with a jet-ski dock opens up the water beyond the beach, alongside kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling gear. The staffing matches the scale: two chefs, two butlers, three housekeepers, activity attendants and a villa manager, with a 24-hour concierge and night security.
