The Wave

The Wave sits 130 metres above the sea on a private hillside estate of more than 24,000 square metres in S'Estanyol, near the village of Jesús. From here the view takes in a wide sweep of the island: the coastline, the old town and harbour of Ibiza, the green countryside and, on a clear day, the low outline of Formentera.

Completed in 2016, the villa pairs clean contemporary architecture with natural materials and pieces from leading European design houses. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the views, and the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is gathered around a fireplace.

Five en-suite bedrooms sleep ten. The two master suites have oversized beds, sea views and private outdoor space, one with a bath set in the room and the other with a bath outdoors. The remaining bedrooms open onto terraces.

Outside, terraced gardens lead to a heated 18-metre infinity pool, with day beds, an outdoor bar, a fire pit lounge and space for long dinners. A professional gym with a Pilates reformer, a yoga and massage terrace, e-bikes and paddleboards keep the days active, and house managers and two housekeepers look after everything.

For all its seclusion, the villa is close to the action: Ibiza Town and the Botafoc and Ibiza marinas are around five to ten minutes away, the small beach of Cala Bonita is a few minutes' drive, and the airport is about a quarter of an hour.
