Teos Villa the Cliff

Teos Villa the Cliff looks out over the Aegean from Turkey's west coast, within easy reach of Izmir and some of the most rewarding corners of the Turkish Riviera. The villa sits in almost 2,000 square metres of landscaped gardens, with sea views from its terraces and a lift connecting its levels.

It is a house built for comfort rather than crowds. Some 600 square metres of living space hold just three large king-size master bedrooms, each with a generous shaded terrace, alongside a large lounge, a professional kitchen and both indoor and outdoor dining. A separate staff apartment keeps service close at hand but out of sight.

Water is a recurring theme. There is a heated indoor pool with an eight-person sauna for cooler days, and a heated outdoor pool of Olympic proportions for long summer swims. Beside it, a 140-square-metre pool house has its own kitchen, bar, barbecue, dining room and lounge.

Beyond the villa, guests can use the facilities of a neighbouring five-star hotel, from tennis, padel and basketball to a gym, spa, restaurants and a private nautical base for watersports and sea excursions. The region rewards exploration too: the ancient city of Ephesus, the vineyards of the Urla wine valley and the beach clubs of Alaçatı are all within reach.
