Tagomago Island
Tagomago rises from the sea around 900 metres off Ibiza's east coast, a long, rugged ridge of rock some one and a half kilometres from end to end. It is entirely private, and for the length of a stay it belongs to one group alone.
The island and its waters are protected under the European Natura 2000 network, recognised for one of the most important colonies of the Balearic shearwater, the only seabird found nowhere else but these islands. Eleonora's falcons, shags and Scopoli's shearwaters nest along the cliffs, dolphins pass offshore, and a lighthouse has kept watch over the island for more than a century.
At the heart of the island, the residence has been redesigned for 2026 around a calmer, more experience-led way of island living. Five en-suite suites sleep ten guests, opening onto shaded terraces, lounges and an 8 by 16-metre infinity pool, with an open-air cinema for warm nights. A private chef builds each day's menu around guests' tastes and Balearic produce.
Arrival is by private tender rather than helicopter, which keeps the island quiet. A tender and captain are on call around the clock, and an on-island team of twelve looks after everything else, from yoga, sound healing and guided walks to buggy rides out to the lighthouse, snorkelling in hidden coves and underwater photography.
