Stylish Estate Set Among the Untamed Dunes of Punta Paloma in Tarifa, Spain
Set among dense pine forest and framed by jagged mountains, this villa is a beach lover’s retreat where relaxation and adventure meet. Located in the wild, untamed landscape of Punta Paloma on Spain’s southernmost coast, the villa enjoys an extraordinary position overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar. Just 14 kilometres away, Africa rises across the water, with the seven hills of Ceuta visible by day and the distant lights of Tangier creating a magical backdrop after sunset.
With direct, private access to the beach, the villa comprises five bedrooms and six bathrooms spread across three traditional, low-lying Tarifa-style stone buildings. Each has its own private entrance, offering families and groups of friends the freedom to come together while still enjoying a sense of independence.
Designed with celebration and connection in mind, the villa offers generous indoor and outdoor spaces where days unfold at a slower pace. Here, there is room to gather, retreat, and reconnect with long, sun-filled days encouraging a more relaxed rhythm of life.
Every stay includes the guidance of a dedicated villa host, who acts as a personal concierge from the moment of booking through to departure. Guests can rely on their local knowledge to arrange tables at nearby chiringuitos and bars, organise grocery deliveries, book kitesurfing lessons or horseback riding excursions, and curate experiences tailored to their stay.
A Natural Sense of Place
When the property was acquired from a longtime family friend who had become a hotelier, the vision was not to reinvent the villa, but to soften and refine what was already there. The original Tarifa stone structures and slate roofs were carefully preserved, allowing the architecture to remain rooted in its rugged surroundings.
Inside, the palette draws directly from the landscape: lush greens, the deep blues of the sea and warm, sandy tones create a natural continuity between the interiors and the world beyond. Limestone-washed walls contrast with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, while neutral linens allow the changing coastal light to take centre stage. Locally sourced Spanish ceramics add subtle touches of Andalusian craftsmanship and authenticity.
The result is bright, breezy and effortlessly luminous, a space designed not only for beautiful surroundings, but for a genuine sense of calm. Here, the landscape, architecture and interiors come together to create an atmosphere that invites guests to slow down, settle in and simply enjoy being together.
