Sole e Mare

Sole e Mare, Italian for sun and sea, is a newly built estate on Grace Bay that wears its mid-century modern influences lightly. Two storeys of bright white rooms are warmed with rich wood, pastel tones and flashes of colour, and some 200 feet of private beach lie just beyond the lawn.

The house covers around 20,000 square feet on two acres. Ten individually styled suites sleep 20 guests: four in the main house, including two principal suites of around 1,200 square feet each, and six more arranged around a courtyard, giving families and friends both togetherness and room to breathe.

Outdoors, the centrepiece is a heated, 100-foot infinity-edge pool, with an outdoor spa and a pool pavilion for long lunches. A beachside fire pit and an oceanfront deck take over in the evening, while paddleboards and kayaks are ready for the calm, clear water of the bay.

There is plenty to fill the days on land too: a gym, a salon with manicure and pedicure station, a media room, a bar, a private office, pickleball and half-court basketball. A private chef, butler and daily housekeeping keep everything running, with overnight security and childcare or wellness specialists available when needed.
