Sol d'en Serra Beach, Ibiza

High on the hillside above Sol d'en Serra, this five-bedroom villa looks straight down onto one of the east coast's clearest bays. The rocky cove and its turquoise water are 300 metres away, and Amante, among the island's best-loved beach clubs, is a two-minute walk from the gate.

Cala Llonga is fifteen minutes away on foot, with a sandy beach, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, a pharmacy and cashpoints. Ibiza Town is a 15-minute drive and the airport 20.

Outside

The pool sits among a series of sun decks and terraces, furnished with single and double loungers, parasols and a chill-out corner. A covered dining terrace seats ten, and a second covered lounge beside the lawns, with deep sofas and armchairs, faces the sea. The garden is laid to lawn, the grounds are fully fenced, and there is ample parking to the side of the house.

Living spaces

Floor-to-ceiling glass fills the split-level living room with daylight and slides back in summer, so the room opens to the terraces. The furniture is the villa's signature: original retro pieces from the 1950s to the 1970s, set against clean modern architecture and well-chosen artwork. The fully equipped kitchen is part of the same open space, with a dining table for six, a study and a guest cloakroom close by. The house is air-conditioned throughout and has WiFi.
