Six Senses Ibiza Mansions
On Ibiza's wild northern coast, Six Senses Ibiza looks over the cliffs and clear water of Xarraca Bay, far from the island's busier south. Alongside its suites and residences, the resort keeps two private mansions for groups who want the space of a home with the full reach of a Six Senses resort around them.
The first sits right on the edge of the cliffs. Arranged over three levels, it has five en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a wine cellar and a series of terraces, all leading to a 15-metre infinity pool that seems to hang above the bay. Sitting areas blend the traditional Ibicenco finca with contemporary comfort.
The second, the South Mansion, is larger still: ten bedrooms over more than 2,000 square metres, with an open-plan kitchen, a generous living room, a private cinema, its own pool and a broad terrace made for watching the sun set over the sea. Both houses have private entrances, so they can be taken together or apart.
The resort, designed by architect and owner Jonathan Leitersdorf, is built around the Six Senses approach to wellbeing. A morning might begin with yoga on a deck above the water, followed by a paddle across the bay and a lazy afternoon at the resort's beach and restaurants.
