Serenaos
Serenaos takes its name from serenity and naos, the Greek word for temple, and its setting on the east coast of Lefkada lives up to both. Surrounded by olive groves above a small private bay near Ellomeno, the villa looks out over a sheltered stretch of the Ionian scattered with islands: Meganissi, the islet of Thilia and Skorpios, once the private island of the Onassis family.
The house blends modern lines with traditional Greek character across five en-suite bedrooms for ten guests, each with sea views and terrace access. A V-shaped pool of around 50 square metres anchors the terraces, with shaded spaces for long lunches and a pizza oven for informal evenings.
Below, a path winds down to the villa's own beach, where a floating pontoon and jetty make the sea the main event. A private RIB is moored and ready, so a day might mean a run across to a taverna on Meganissi, a swim off Skorpios or simply time in the calm water with a kayak or paddleboard.
Back on land there is a sea-view gym and a table-tennis table, while the house team takes care of daily housekeeping and a continental breakfast most mornings. A chef, yoga sessions and massages can be added for a slower, more indulgent rhythm.
