Sanzaru

Sanzaru is a grand estate within the Sandy Lane Estate, on the Platinum West Coast of Barbados, with views over the golf course to the Caribbean and the island's northern tip. Made up of a main house and a separate self-contained cottage, it extends across around 21,000 square feet.

The signature lanai and patio look out over the sea, and a heated saltwater infinity pool, lit at night, has a shallow sunbathing ledge. Beside it, an outdoor kitchen and bar, a dining area and a lounge make the most of the island evenings, along with an open-flame fire pit.

Eleven bedrooms sleep up to 24 guests, with nine in the main house and two in the guest cottage, which has its own kitchen and living space. The master suite has a four-poster bed, walk-in wardrobes, a private balcony and an Italian marble bathroom.

Sanzaru is designed for families and celebrations. There is an air-conditioned home cinema and an outdoor cinema, a gym and an in-house spa where therapists can offer massages, facials and manicures. Guests also enjoy the villa's cabana at the Sandy Lane owners' beach club. A house manager, chef, butlers, maids, laundry and security are included, and babysitting and catamaran cruises can be arranged. Sandy Lane, Royal Westmoreland and the Green Monkey golf courses are all nearby.
