Puesta del Sol, Spanish for "sunset", lives up to its name. This modern take on a Mallorcan villa sits on a south-west-facing hillside at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Cala Llamp, near Port d'Andratx, where the sun sinks into the sea each evening. In summer the island of Sa Dragonera is on the horizon, and on clear winter days you can see as far as Ibiza.
The villa is styled with art and individual design details and arranged for privacy. On the main floor, broad terraces connect to the indoor living and dining spaces and a Gaggenau kitchen with a wine fridge. The terrace level below holds a spa with a KLAFS sauna, along with two of the bedrooms and a further kitchen.
Six bedrooms sleep up to 12 guests, with Dornbracht fittings in every bathroom and an independent apartment with its own kitchen.
Outside, a heated pool and jacuzzi, both with automatic covers and colour-changing lighting, look out to sea. There is a Technogym gym with a sea view, table tennis, table football, a PlayStation and Sonos sound indoors and out. Underfloor heating makes the villa just as comfortable outside summer. The beach and the restaurants of Port d'Andratx are just a few minutes away.
