Beyond the Croisette, some of the most remarkable houses near Cannes lie just offshore, or along the coast to the west.

A short boat ride from the old port, Sainte-Marguerite is the largest of the Lérins Islands, a peaceful place of pine and eucalyptus woods with clear water and Fort Royal, where the Man in the Iron Mask was imprisoned. Our restored estate there offers complete privacy minutes from the city, with lunch at La Guérite, the island's famous beach restaurant, nearby. To the west, Théoule-sur-Mer sits beneath the Esterel, where the red rocks plunge into deep blue water. Our waterfront villa there has its own private dock, perfect for exploring the coast by boat.

The best months are June and September. Cannes is busiest during the Film Festival in May and the Lions festival in June.
