Finca Bellavista

Finca Bellavista is a restored white farmhouse at the heart of a private 50-hectare estate on Menorca's quiet south-west coast. Gardens, farmland and forest surround the house, and a private lane leads around 400 metres down to the white sand and clear water of Son Saura. It is part of the Zannier Private Estates collection.

The interiors pair modern simplicity with rustic character, using local antiques, handmade textiles and original artwork in soft tones of wood and grey. An open-plan kitchen with a central island flows into a living and dining room arranged around a fireplace, and there is a separate television room for quieter evenings.

Outside, an 11-metre heated pool sits beside a pool house, and a shaded pergola, a wood-fired oven and an outdoor kitchen set the scene for long dinners. A rooftop terrace looks out to sea, and an organic vegetable garden supplies the kitchen.

Five bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and its own bathroom, sleep up to ten guests. Daily housekeeping is included, and a chef, waiting staff and excursions can be arranged. Bicycles and yoga equipment are on hand, and the island's 200 kilometres of coastline offer boating, diving and horse riding. The medieval streets of Ciutadella are a short drive away.
