It is no surprise that Messel chose it as his personal home after meticulously restoring the estate in the 1950s. The ground floor showcases a series of airy, inviting rooms ideal for entertaining or relaxing with family and friends. Seven en-suite bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged across three buildings: the main house, guest cottage one, and guest cottage two, all offering abundant space for larger groups to relax together while still enjoying privacy.

The two-storey main house features four en-suite bedrooms. The upper-level master suite is bright and refined, with high ceilings, wooden floors, elegant antique furnishings, a stately upholstered king bed, exquisite linens and carefully selected décor. French doors open onto a private balcony with sweeping sea views. The suite includes air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, generous wardrobe space and a beautifully finished marble bathroom with double vanity and a spacious shower.

Guest bedroom two is refined and comfortable, with a beautifully crafted king bed, luxurious fabrics, wooden floors, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a recently renovated en suite with a large shower. It shares an expansive sea-view balcony with guest bedrooms three and four.

Guest bedrooms three and four can serve as a family suite. Bedroom three features a king bed, high-quality linens and an en-suite with marble finishes and a walk-in shower. Bedroom four offers mahogany floors, twin beds and an en suite with marble flooring and a marble bathtub with shower. Both rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans and access to a second north-facing balcony overlooking the pool, as well as private stairs leading directly to the pool deck.

Guest cottage one is a tranquil garden retreat with high pickle-washed ceilings, luxurious fabrics, a king-sized bed and an en suite with a spacious walk-in shower. The cottage is air-conditioned for added comfort.

Nestled deeper in the garden, guest cottage two includes guest bedrooms six and seven. Bedroom six features a king-sized four-poster mahogany bed, while bedroom seven offers a king bed and a convenient kitchenette. Both rooms are air-conditioned, include ceiling fans and have marble-finished en suites with generous showers.
