El Rincon
Villa El Rincón is one of the great houses of Marbella's Golden Mile. Built in 1968 by American architect Robert Mosher, who trained under Frank Lloyd Wright, it is an Andalusian Moorish-style estate whose landscaped gardens run all the way down to the Mediterranean, with the Sierra Blanca mountains rising behind.
The grounds stretch across nearly 12,000 square metres, and the house is screened from view, giving it rare privacy so close to the heart of Marbella. Inside, more than 2,600 square metres of living space are filled with artworks and antiques, fireplaces and a piano, with a lift connecting the floors.
Fifteen guest bedrooms sleep up to 30, with a separate service house of five rooms for staff, making El Rincón one of the very few villas in Spain suited to weddings, milestone celebrations and corporate retreats. There is a heated infinity pool and a second pool, a gym and a sauna, a cinema, a games room and an office, and the chef's kitchen is joined outside by a barbecue and pizza oven.
A villa manager, daily housekeeping and a gardener are included, and a private chef, waiting staff, a personal trainer, yoga, childcare and yacht charters can be arranged. The Marbella Club, Puente Romano and the old town are all within about a mile.
