Casa Tau
Casa Tau is a secluded oceanfront estate in Punta Mita where barefoot luxury meets authentic Mexican soul. It was created by two of Mexico's most celebrated architects, Manolo Mestre and Juan Collignon, and it sits within the exclusive Ranchos Estates on the shores of the Bay of Banderas.
Palm, stone and artisanal wood shape a series of open-air palapas and living spaces that capture the breeze and the bay views. At the centre stands the grand palapa, the heart of the estate for dining and drinks, with seating for more than 25. A heated infinity pool and jacuzzi overlook 120 feet of private sandy beach, and whales can be seen passing in season.
Twelve suites, spread between the main house and guest casitas, accommodate up to 28 guests, making Casa Tau one of the most generous villas in Mexico for family reunions and milestone celebrations. There is a cinema room, a gym, a spa room, a games room, a rooftop terrace and kayaks and paddleboards for the bay.
A full team, including butlers, chefs, a pastry chef, bartenders, housekeepers and on-site security, is on hand around the clock. Guests also enjoy Punta Mita's beach clubs, kids' club, lazy river, spa and two Jack Nicklaus golf courses.
