Casa Lou

Casa Lou is a quiet architectural gem tucked into the Corsican maquis in the south of the island, just moments from the sea. It was imagined by its owners, an architect and his wife who share a passion for interior design, and it was created with deep respect for its surroundings.

Hidden from view except from the water, the villa follows the natural contours of the land, and its fully planted roof allows it to disappear into the landscape. Stone, wood and raw concrete give it a balance of modernity and authenticity, while terraces look out across the Bay of Propriano.

A 26-metre infinity pool with a pool house sits within expansive gardens, and a private path leads down to an unspoilt beach, where paddleboards are waiting. A panoramic terrace with a long dining table and outdoor lounge is made for evenings outdoors, and there is an edible garden, a Technogym gym and a wine cellar.

Five bedrooms sleep up to ten guests. Bread, pastries and newspapers arrive each morning, daily cleaning is included, and the hosts can arrange restaurants, activities, private yoga and wellness treatments.

For those arriving in style, the villa has both a private helipad and a mooring.
