Casa La Vista
Casa La Vista is a 28-acre retreat on Ibiza's quieter north coast, set in a frontline position above the little bay of Cala Xuclar. It is a place of understated luxury and complete privacy, with some of the most beautiful sunsets on the island.
The villa was designed by the acclaimed architect Rolf Blakstad Sr., whose work is synonymous with Ibiza's traditional architecture, and it sits naturally within its landscape of pine woodland, fruit and olive trees and terraced gardens. A path winds down through the estate's own pine forest to the clear water of Cala Xuclar for secluded morning and sunset swims.
At the heart of the main house is a living room arranged around a striking fireplace, opening onto a sea-facing terrace. A Moroccan-inspired garden shelters a long table for alfresco lunches, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views is perfect for yoga or sunset cocktails. A saltwater infinity pool looks out to sea and can be heated in winter.
Six individually designed bedrooms, spread between the main house and a traditional farmhouse joined by a palm-filled courtyard, sleep up to 12 guests.
A day manager and cleaning team are included, and a chef and experiences from yoga to boat trips can be arranged. Sandy Portinatx beach is about a kilometre and a half away.
