Candelas

Candelas is a newly designed villa in the hills above Cala Jondal, with panoramic views across the sea to Formentera and over the green hills of south-west Ibiza. It is a house that rewards those who appreciate architecture and art as much as sunshine.

Inside, sweeping staircases and soaring ceilings create a sense of drama. The sitting room is furnished with bespoke pieces and world-class art, and it opens onto a bright terrace and a garden punctuated by sculpture. Music lovers will find a concert-quality Steinway grand piano waiting to be played.

Outside, a 20-metre infinity pool frames the view, and a serene chill-out area invites long afternoons in the shade. A pétanque pitch and mountain bikes for exploring the island add to the fun. Bedrooms sleep up to 16 guests, with Sonos sound in the bedrooms, living areas and garden.

House staff are on hand every day, breakfast is prepared and served each morning, and a chef, extra staff and a driver can be arranged. The beach clubs of Cala Jondal and the restaurants around San José are a short drive away.
