Canaxica occupies a secluded spot between San José and the beach at Cala Jondal, home to some of Ibiza's most famous beach clubs. Sleek straight lines and low rooflines are softened by tall palms and pines, giving the villa a wonderful sense of privacy, with glimpses of the Mediterranean flashing through the trees.
Life here revolves around the 25-metre infinity pool, which draws its water from the property's own well and can be heated in cooler months. Every bedroom looks out over it. Beyond, manicured lawns hide contemporary artworks, a jacuzzi for up to ten people beneath the palms, a pétanque pitch and an outdoor cinema. There is even a white-sand lounge under the pines, with its own bar and seating for 30, for evenings that run late.
Inside, polished wooden floors and quirky contemporary styling bring warmth to the bright, modern spaces. Eight en-suite bedrooms, split between the main house and a poolside annexe, sleep up to 16 guests. The principal suite has a hammam and private access to the jacuzzi.
House staff and a daily breakfast are included, and a chef can be arranged. The beach clubs of Cala Jondal and the restaurants of San José are just minutes away.
