Built as a summer retreat in the golden age of the Adriatic, the villa has been restored with rare patience and furnished to the standard of a private collector’s residence. Hand-painted silk wallpaper, Murano glass, polished marble and warm timber run throughout, and the walls carry original British artworks from a private collection.

The main house rises over three floors, linked by a sweeping staircase and a lift. Its five bedrooms are generous. The attic principal suite alone measures 71 m², with its own balcony, free-standing bath in a marble bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Most bedrooms open onto terraces or bay windows framing the sea. A separate sitting room with a Georgian fireplace and a study table looks straight out across the water, while a tiny library in the rooftop viewpoint is perhaps the finest reading spot on the island.

Downstairs is given over to slow days: a private cinema with its own refreshment bar, a carom table, and a wellness floor with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and gym. Outside, terraces wrap the house on three sides above a fragrant Mediterranean garden, the seawater pool and jacuzzi sit among the pines, and a section of the beach below is reserved for the villa’s guests alone.

A self-contained apartment within the villa, with its own entrance, adds three further bedrooms with a kitchen, living room and terrace. Ideal for older children, friends or travelling staff. A dedicated butler and private chef look after the house, with full board available, and guests may also use the facilities of two neighbouring five-star hotels, including their restaurants and award-winning spa.

The villa is let exclusively and suits family gatherings, celebrations and small private events.
