Alkmene Villa

Villa Alkmene sits within Parc Héraclée, a private gated domain on the coast at La Croix-Valmer, where pine-covered hills tumble down to the clear water of the Mediterranean. Saint-Tropez is close enough for lunch at the beach clubs of Pampelonne, yet this stretch of coastline keeps a slower, quieter rhythm all of its own.

The villa is built across several levels to make the most of a sweeping 180-degree sea view. Terraces step down towards the water, an infinity pool forms the centrepiece of the garden, and a private path leads directly to the shore for early-morning swims. Inside, six bedrooms sleep up to 12 guests, with a primary suite that has its own lounge, study and private terrace.

There is plenty to fill the days without leaving home. A spa level with a sauna, sensory shower, massage room and gym sits beneath the pool, and there is a library, a games room and not one but two wine cellars. A full team, including a head chef, butler, housekeepers and a private driver, ensures everything runs seamlessly.

Beyond the domain, coastal paths wind above hidden coves, and the sandy beaches of Gigaro and the villages of Ramatuelle and Gassin are all nearby.
