008 Villa

Set high on the slopes above Camps Bay, 008 Villa seems to float between mountain and ocean. Floor-to-ceiling glass, floating staircases and clean, horizontal lines give the house a sense of weightlessness against the rugged backdrop of the Twelve Apostles, while the Atlantic fills almost every view.

The villa is arranged over several levels, each designed for easy movement between inside and out. Two main living floors each have their own lounge, dining room, kitchen and terrace, and each opens onto a rim-flow pool that seems to spill straight into the sea beyond. Seven en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 14 guests, making it a natural choice for families or friends travelling together, and a fitness room keeps routines on track.

What sets 008 Villa apart on the Atlantic Seaboard is its service. A private chef, concierge and housekeeping team are on site every day, so breakfast can arrive in bed and long evening dinners on the terrace take care of themselves.

Camps Bay's palm-lined beachfront, with its restaurants and sundowner bars, is only a short walk downhill. Lion's Head, Clifton's beaches and the V&A Waterfront are all within easy reach, and the Cape Winelands make a memorable day trip.
