Arrival day

Welcome to Menorca, the largest Marine Biosphere Reserve of the Mediterranean and a unique haven of peace. The Cugó Gran Menorca team will be delighted to welcome you in our property, where history and luxury melt into a perfect blend

Our General Manager will meet you upon arrival, welcome you, answer all your queries and introduce you to all the staff.

On your first evening, our chef will offer a traditional paella showcooking in or BBQ area, along with a cold buffet of salads and Spanish tapas. A perfect time to present you with some local wines, including our own Cugó Gran Menorca wine.

In the meantime, our housekeeping staff will make sure your rooms are ready for a restful sleep.

Second day

Good morning dear family, we hope you have had a very pleasant awakening wrapped in the fragrance from the surrounding lavender fields and feel ready to discover Menorca.

After a lovely breakfast in our terrace, (family style our individually) we will discover the “Cami de Cavalls”, the legend-cloaked horse track that goes round the island. Though its origin is uncertain, it may be closely related to the cavalries that defended the island from invaders around the 14th Century. However, throughout history, the Camí de Cavalls has served different purposes: as linking path between the farms near the coast, as an access to the sea for fishermen from inner land, etc. You may discover it horseriding, biking or simply walking.

After this first approach to the essence of our island, we will welcome you back at Cugó Gran Menorca with refreshing cocktails; and while you enjoy yourselves in our infinity pool, we will prepare a lovely meal that may be served buffet-style in the BBQ area just behind the pool, in the gardens or in any of the terraces near the house.

Once your batteries have recharged, it’s time to enjoy the turquoise waters of Menorca, let’s dive into the sea… there are plenty of activities waiting for you, paddle-surf, diving, windsurfing or just enjoy a refreshing swim.

After this non stop day, we would suggest an elegant dinner back at our terraces, take delight in our menu (enclosed) and do not hesitate to ask for anything you want. We will be pleased to make as many changes as you want or even create a bespoke menu for your stay.

Third day

Take your time and enjoy the gorgeous views of the garden during breakfast, but right after it your first sailing day is waiting for you. We will prepare a specific menu to bring with you on board, which the crew will serve later in the yacht.

Menorca is also called the “island of wind”, where the tramontana (northern wind)  plays an important role in our sailing trips. Depending on the force and direction of the wind we will choose to sail North or South, but you don’t need to worry about it, since both the Northern and Southern coasts have unique places you wouldn’t want to miss.

After a whole day at sea, we will take you out for dinner at Mahon’s Port, enjoying the views of one of the largest natural harbours in the world.

Fourth day

Today, we will discover Menorca on foot. We will start in Ciudadella, the former capital of the island, with its magnificent Cathedral and the historical palaces that housed the Menorcan nobility. Enjoy some shopping in the historical town centre before lunching in one of the outstanding restaurants that may be found either in town or in its picturesque Mediterranean harbour. We will make the reservation in advance for you depending on your food choice.

In our way back, we will stop in the Mascaró shoe factory, a world renowned shoe maker and producer of the very popular “pretty ballerinas”. Do not miss the opportunity to take with you back home some pairs of these beautifully hand-made shoes.

Back at Cugó Gran Menorca, enjoy a unique sunset while relaxing at our terraces or pool area, drinking a cocktail or a glass of wine. Just feel the peace and quiet of yet another perfect day coming to an end at Cugó Gran Menorca.

We suggest you give the finishing touch to your day with a unique dinner made exclusively for you by our chef, with your choice of local fish or meat, fresh vegetables from our gardens and side salads to complete the treat.

Fifth day

After so much activity, we think you deserve a relaxing day in our property.

We will schedule some treatments and massages for all of you during the day, so while some of you chill out in the garden, pool, etc, others can be enjoying our spa facilities.

Then lunch will be served: grilled meat, fresh prawns, fish… whatever your choice is we will prepare it for you (do not hesitate to ask for anything outside the set menu. We will do our bet to get it for you)

In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most important vineyards in Menorca and after a wine-testing session we will drive you to “cova d’en xoroi”, the most chic beach-club, where you will witness one of the most memorable sunsets on the island.

Back at Cugó Gran Menorca, we may prepare a thematic dinner in our terrace.

Sixth day

Let’s dive into the sea again! Menorca boasts 75 beaches and 24 virgin coves, so let’s sail off again for another unforgettable day.

We may again provide you with some lovely fresh-made food from Cugó Gran Menorca to be enjoyed on board, unless you prefer to try a restaurant near one of the beautiful beaches (such as Restaurant Cap Roig in Sa Mesquida). The crew will take you from the yacht to the restaurant on the tender boat. Just let us know your preference and we will arrange for a reservation

Back at port, we invite you to try one of the best restaurants in Menorca, Sallagosta, where the whole family may enjoy the flagship product of Menorcan cuisine, the lobster in any of its forms: grilled, lobster soup, etc.

Seventh day

Upon request, this may be a perfect last sailing day, but if so we suggest to start later in the day so that you can enjoy sunset on board.

Enjoy a fresh buffet-style lunch by the pool while you enjoy your last day in the facilities. Then in the afternoon, after a repairing rest, we will go on board for the whole afternoon and then get back at Cugó Gran Menorca not before having enjoyed yet another breathtaking sunset from the sea.

Our last dinner at Cugó Gran Menorca is meant to be something unforgettable, with a “gala” dinner served in our terraces that will have been beautifully decorated for the occasion.
