Four Celebrity-Owned Homes you can Rent on Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos
The Residence
The former estate home of Bruce Willis is the largest on the island. Consisting of three villas with 11 bedrooms, it is the epitome of island luxury. The actor originally purchased the estate back in 2000 and has enjoyed many happy years holidaying here, even marrying his wife Emma Heming here in 2009. He sold the large property for $27 million in 2019 in what was then the second biggest property sale in the region, before selling off the last of his land for $6 million recently.
Rocky Point
Legendary Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards owns the three-bedroomed Rocky Point villa on Turks and Caicos, located just a ten-minute buggy ride from the main resort and close to the island’s coconut and banana grove. Featuring Asian and Caribbean design cues, it where Richards goes to relax. “That’s where I can loosen up … and I know people who don’t give a s*** who I am,” he told Men’s Journal of Parrot Cay. “I basically go there because I’ve got grandkids, and I’ve got this little beach that’s so shallow only an idiot could drown there.”
The Lucky House
Supermodel Christley Brinkley’s The Lucky House is a three-bedroom beachfront estate on the island’s sunset-facing shoreline. Featuring a 45-foot infinity pool, open-air yoga studio and Ayervedic Spa, the home’s style is heavily influenced by Brinkley’s travels in Asia — whitewashed interiors have teak and oak finishing, and an extensive collection of ornaments and traditional wooden art pieces decorate the space. Christie bought the home 25 years ago and told Travel and Leisure: “My house is called Lucky House because I feel so lucky every second that I’m there. It is a true place to exhale. Heaven touches the earth there. It’s really unbelievable. We do a lot of diving there and hop around to other islands.”
The Sanctuary
Donna Karen’s The Sanctuary is the ultimate Caribbean villa: a peaceful, spacious house with three bedrooms. The property exudes a peaceful spirit — the hallmark of its interior designer Donna Karan — with cedar-panelled walls, teak furniture, walnut floors and limestone bathrooms, as well as antiques and ornaments from Karan’s travels. Two of the bedrooms overlook the property’s private swathe of beach, and a third bedroom overlooks a lush garden. All bedrooms are en suite. Two private dining areas and ample living space also provide plenty of room to relax. On the upper level, a private sundeck surrounds a large infinity pool that looks out over the Caribbean. The Sanctuary has views of both the island’s rich vegetation and turquoise ocean.
