Ibiza offers fantastic opportunities for an array of activities , the cooler weather can be perfect for exploring ‘the other side’ of the island . There are a number of beach and country-side restaurants that are open all year and some top notch dining establishments that are not influenced by the season . The country lanes are quieter of traffic which makes for great cycling or quad biking !! (There are 2 adult and 2 kids mountain bikes and a BMX bike available at the villa as well as helmets and a car bike rack) As a destination for the sport or fitness enthusiast there is plenty to choose from…… Hiking and cross country running or even just a nice walk exploring the country or coast is great in the cooler weather . We have a couple of excellent walking guide books with well mapped routs . There are loads of ‘Fiestas’ throughout the island , from the ‘Vino Payes’ (country wine) first vintage village BBQ to the big ‘Three Kings Parades’ on the 6th January as well as , of course , February ‘Carnival’ celebrated all over the island , and not forgetting , the ever popular ‘Flower Power’ town street party culminating in the marquee with funky 70s and 80s DJs !! Bring the whole family and remember 70s fancy dress… to name just a few……. There are some fabulous culinary events spread throughout the winter season ranging from the ‘Pintxos’ trail to the ‘el Menu’ and local produce ‘Menu of the Day’ completion , most of which run over 4-6 weeks at different times .
